£9,000 is being spent on removing chewing gum from the streets of Cobham and Esher.

The money is being administered by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy.

Gum will be removed from Cobham High Street and Oakdene Parade over a period of around four days.

After that, Esher High Street will also be cleansed, and is also likely to take around four days to complete.
