£24 million is to be invested in some of Wandsworth’s leisure centres.

One of the first improvement projects is a new Soft Play area at Putney Leisure Centre for children under five.

This will be followed by the installation of a new Fitness Suite in Latchmere Leisure Centre which will include a refurbished gym.

Works to modernise the eight centres will be funded with investment from Wandsworth Council and management company, Places Leisure.
