£180,000 worth of winter clothing and essential items have been handed out to people in need across Hammersmith and Fulham.

The money has been granted through the council’s Winter Support Fund.

It’s hoped it will help reduce pressure on families who are facing high bills, rising prices and cold weather.

The authority handled 43,000 calls from people struggling with daily costs last year.
