16 people have been rescued from a fire in Hounslow thought to have been caused by a candle.

Firefighters were called to the block in Hunting Place just after 7pm on Wednesday.

Eight of those led to safety were checked over by paramedics.

London Fire Brigade is reminding us to never leave candles unattended and consider using LED alternatives.
